Investment from Another Perspective

Shares is a secure investment platform where the community is invited to exchange and actively participate in the economic life and health of the world of tomorrow. It's about learning from others and sharing knowledge and skills to enable everyone to find their place in the field of finance and online investment.

A super smooth collaboration and especially the talent of the teams who designed Shares' first identity from scratch.

Shares follows you

The brand aims to reinvent the codes and usages related to the field of dematerialized investment. It thus relies on popular visual and identity representations from the world of street art combined with the universality of emojis.

Values & highlighter

Apart from blue, the palette used is primarily based on black and white, allowing for the use of light and dark mode. The secondary, warm, and saturated shades wake up the whole and are scattered throughout the site like so many marker strokes to highlight certain elements.

Typographic simplicity

Bold typography paired with colorful backgrounds references street ad campaigns and impactful slogans displayed on billboards. Its balanced proportions and simplicity are particularly suitable for the web and ensure good readability of content.

An emoji wall

To intensify the “street” aspect, an “emoji wall” representing the investment environment and Shares values was imagined to appear periodically on the site. These visuals act like tags creating a unique dynamic and visual style.

Icons or smileys

The site’s icons incorporate the smileys used in patterns to maintain consistency across different visuals of the platform.

Photos

Bright and natural photos reflect the daily life, diversity, and reality of users. Shares is for everyone and can be used everywhere, all the time: at home, on the street, in transit.

Day and night

The website incorporates all the previously introduced elements and adds the concept of time zones by switching between dark and light mode depending on the transaction opening hours.

We “shares” with you

The brand is also active on social networks to share more content with its community, reusing the graphic codes established to offer colorful and dynamic posts.

Even more!

The end result is important, but what about the journey and other tests to get there? We've decided to present a multitude of visual elements and unreleased tests to highlight the process as much as the final product.

Logotype

Many graphic concepts were considered. Creatives worked on multiple approaches ranging from very flat chat bubbles to 3D “pie slices” that you’d want to devour.

Tags and stickers

Other graphic attempts related to street art like tags or stickers were also explored. But as they say: “less is more”. We gradually reduced the number of visual elements to keep only the most impactful ones.

Accumulation

Here are different visuals we had the opportunity to test during the search for brand identity. Colors, shapes, illustration styles, etc. Everything was tried until we achieved a striking and coherent entity.

The beginnings

The first graphic tests were therefore grouped into a site mockup. We could already distinguish the beginnings of the future identity with the significant presence of black, white and numerous smileys and icons.
