Rimowa x Pokemon 30 years anniversary

Rimowa came to us for a collaboration with Pokémon, built around the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The point was not to place Pokémon on a Rimowa suitcase. It was to make the suitcase feel like it could exist inside the Pokémon universe. So we redrew Rimowa’s iconic silhouette through Pokémon’s visual language. Its grooved aluminium shell, precise proportions and structured design were softened, rounded and reworked to feel native to that world. We then staged selected Pokémon with the products, building compositions where characters and objects share the same line, volume and energy. Not a Rimowa suitcase with Pokémon on it. A Rimowa suitcase that feels like it belongs in Pokémon. Thirty years of Pokémon, seen through Rimowa’s craft.
