Digital
Your website is often the first place people meet your brand, and sometimes the only one. Our web design work is about getting your identity onto that screen without it losing its voice along the way, from a 27-inch monitor to a phone held one-handed on the Tube. We map out the site structure, the user journeys and the interface, then put every screen through the lens of UX/UI before a single line of code gets written. The site is then built in-house, usually in Framer. For a redesign, we start from what already works on your site, and it’s often more than you’d think.
Web design
People read a website the way they recognise a brand: at a glance. So it all starts with the sitemap, the plan nobody sees and everybody follows, then the layout of every page template. Type, colour and motion come from your visual identity, not from a template bought the night before. If development is the structural work on your site, think of web design as the interior architecture.
UX/UI
UI, the user interface, makes your site pleasant to use and true to your visual identity. UX, the user experience, makes sure visitors find what they came for, and then the button that goes with it. We work on both in the same mockups, with the same designers, so neither one gets the upper hand. In short, UI rests the eyes and UX rests the brain.
Prototype
The best way to understand what’s in a designer’s head is still to have them show you. Before development, we build a clickable prototype of your site. You click through it like the finished thing, and changing your mind at that stage costs next to nothing. At Bruno, we like to prove things by example. Changing your mind after launch is another story.
