Bruno is the grandfather of our founders, Barthélémy and Léonard. An Italian immigrant, he built everything from scratch: his businesses, his family. It must be said that he was a man of great courage and an intense worker. Bruno didn’t wait for someone else to do things for him. Yet, his demands never prevented him from being profoundly human.

FAQ

Web design agency in San Francisco

Why choose Bruno as your web design agency in San Francisco?

Because Bruno designs and builds your site with one team, split between San Francisco and Paris. A Bay Area startup heading for Europe, or a European brand landing here, finds both its markets around the same table. Our designers and developers are agency staff, never freelancers, and you deal with them directly.

Where is Bruno’s San Francisco office?

Bruno’s San Francisco office is at 415 Mission St, CA 94105, steps from the Salesforce Transit Center and a few minutes’ walk from Embarcadero station. It’s one of the agency’s four offices, along with Paris, Rouen and London. Workshops can happen there in person, or over video if your team is elsewhere. Either way, you talk to the designers named on your site.

What does a web design agency do day to day?

A web design agency spends its days between the site map, the screens and the testing. At Bruno, that UX/UI work produces a prototype we put in front of real users, then a site our developers build in-house (web development). When the brand itself needs to move, the visual identity goes through the same process.

What interface design work can Bruno show?

For Uber, Bruno’s San Francisco team worked hand in hand with Uber’s own on the UX/UI design of a new mobile app. For Kotcha, a running app founded by two-time Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge, we created the brand and the design, all the way to the ad films. Two apps, one belief: a good screen is one you forget is there.

How do the San Francisco and Paris teams work together?

Bruno can put both teams on the same project, using the slot where their days overlap: 9 a.m. in San Francisco, 6 p.m. in Paris. For a Bay Area company that wants to reach French customers, our Paris copywriters write the French version rather than translating it. And while California sleeps, Paris keeps going.

Will we be able to edit the site ourselves after launch?

Yes. Bruno is a Framer Expert and builds sites your team can edit without a developer. Copy, images, blog posts or a new campaign page are handled in the editor, using the components we designed. For a startup that tweaks its pitch every couple of weeks, that beats waiting in a ticket queue. We’re still around for anything the editor can’t do.

How long does it take to build a site with Bruno?

Bruno takes a site live in two to four months on average, design and development included. A startup that knows what it wants to say and has a single decision-maker can move faster; a brand launching a product or a new identity at the same time will need longer. We set the schedule together, at 415 Mission St or over video.
