Bruno is the grandfather of our founders, Barthélémy and Léonard. An Italian immigrant, he built everything from scratch: his businesses, his family. It must be said that he was a man of great courage and an intense worker. Bruno didn’t wait for someone else to do things for him. Yet, his demands never prevented him from being profoundly human.

FAQ

Branding agency in Paris

Why choose Bruno as a branding agency in Paris?

Because at Bruno, the people who design the brand and the people who build the website work under one roof. The founders set it up that way: Barthélémy Chalvet comes from product design, including time at Uber in San Francisco, and Léonard Chalvet from development, trained at École 42. So your brand never changes hands between identity and product. More than 500 brands have worked this way since 2012.

Where is Bruno’s Paris office?

Bruno’s Paris office is at 27 rue de Liège, 75008 Paris, a few minutes’ walk from Saint-Lazare station. That’s where most workshops and presentations with our Paris-area clients take place. The people you meet there are the ones working on your brand, not a showroom team.

Who works on a branding project?

A branding project brings in three kinds of specialists, all employed by Bruno. Strategic planners run the interviews and write the positioning. Copywriters give the brand its tone of voice, and sometimes its name. Art directors turn all of that into a visual identity. Developers step in if the website is part of the journey.

Which projects show how wide Bruno’s range is?

Bruno would point you to two projects at opposite ends. For Sumeria, Lydia’s bank account, the agency made a first campaign of short, absurd films built on a simple promise: you’ll want to talk about it, a little too much. For Ornikar, the rebrand went from art direction all the way to the product, for a more established brand that still speaks to young drivers. Same team, two very different voices.

How do you stand out in Paris when all your competitors are there too?

Bruno looks for the space your Paris competitors haven’t claimed yet, then holds it in every detail. In a city with thousands of headquarters and startups, copying the company next door makes you invisible. Up against traditional banks, Qonto went for restraint, lots of white and black, and a website where you could try the app without signing up. The style followed the positioning.

How do you get your teams to adopt a new brand?

Bruno delivers the brand with the tools to use it, rather than a bare logo file. Your teams get an online brand book everyone can open and, depending on the project, an AI prompt that keeps the tone of voice on track or a set of brand rules written for generative AI. The 150-page PDF gathering dust in a shared folder, we’ll leave to others.

How long does it take, from strategy to launch?

Bruno allows three to five months on average for a full branding project, then one to three months if you want a brand launch right after. Those timelines vary a lot: a brand that keeps its name moves faster, a twelve-person leadership committee much slower. Where you’re starting from matters too. The schedule gets set at the first meeting, on rue de Liège.
