Bruno is the grandfather of our founders, Barthélémy and Léonard. An Italian immigrant, he built everything from scratch: his businesses, his family. It must be said that he was a man of great courage and an intense worker. Bruno didn’t wait for someone else to do things for him. Yet, his demands never prevented him from being profoundly human.

FAQ

Web development agency in Houston

Why choose Bruno as your web development agency in Houston?

Because Bruno builds sites meant to last, with a team on staff that keeps maintaining them. Your developers know the brand, since they work next to the people who designed it. Bruno is a Framer Expert and switches to custom code when a project needs it. You’ll never have to explain your site to a new vendor.

How does Bruno work with Houston companies?

Bruno works with Houston from San Francisco, at 415 Mission St; the agency has no address in Texas. Houston is two hours ahead of California: a call set for 11 a.m. your time lands at 9 a.m. for us, right as the day starts. Conversations happen over video, with the developers. Trips get planned for the stages that matter.

What’s the difference between web design and web development?

Web design shapes the visitor’s experience, screen by screen; web development makes it real and reliable on every device. At Bruno, web design and development sit in the same team and share one design system. Developers see the mockups early and flag what will cause trouble. Designers hear it before they get attached.

Has Bruno worked for tech brands?

Yes, Bruno led the rebrand of Sendinblue, now Brevo: a new identity, new guidelines and a redesigned site for an audience ranging from freelancers to large accounts. For Ausha, which helps podcasters grow their audience, we modernized the website and built a complete brand book. Two tech brands, each with a very wide audience to serve from a single site.

Can Bruno build a website for a space or energy company in Houston?

Yes, Bruno has already built the identity and website of a mission-critical company. Celeres designs and supports the software that space, defense and transport systems rely on, where reliability is non-negotiable. For a Houston company in space or energy, the challenge is similar: explaining highly technical work to readers who don’t have time.

What does website maintenance include?

Maintenance at Bruno covers updates, security, performance and new features, handled by the developers who built the site. Left alone, a site slows down and gets fragile without warning anyone. For a company used to equipment that runs around the clock, the logic is familiar. You service it before it breaks.

How long does it take to create a website?

Bruno typically runs a website project in two to four months, from scoping to launch. That average depends a lot on where you start: rebuilding an existing site with content to migrate isn’t planned like a site from scratch. The number of decision-makers plays a part too. Maintenance starts the day after launch.
