Bruno is the grandfather of our founders, Barthélémy and Léonard. An Italian immigrant, he built everything from scratch: his businesses, his family. It must be said that he was a man of great courage and an intense worker. Bruno didn’t wait for someone else to do things for him. Yet, his demands never prevented him from being profoundly human.

FAQ

Web development agency in New York

Why choose Bruno as your web development agency in New York?

Because Bruno writes, designs and builds your pages with one team and no freelancers. Copywriters, designers and developers work side by side, so content and code move at the same pace. Nobody waits on another vendor’s copy to finish a page. And you keep the same people once the site is live.

Does Bruno have an office in New York?

No, Bruno doesn’t have an office in Manhattan or anywhere on the East Coast. The San Francisco office, at 415 Mission St, runs your project and covers your afternoons. Paris, at 27 rue de Liège, can cover your mornings if needed, six hours ahead. In-person meetings happen by plane, when they’re worth the trip.

Can a web development agency write the site’s content too?

Yes, a web development agency can write your content if it has copywriters on the team, and Bruno does. Our copywriters work on your verbal identity and the page copy while development moves ahead. So the site isn’t built around placeholder Latin. Real text lengths often change a layout, and it’s better to find out early.

Can you show us websites Bruno has designed?

Yes, Bruno publishes several case studies of sites it has designed. For the Alaska State Archives, the whole interface was rethought around the archive documents. Work With Island, which makes acoustic booths for offices, got an e-commerce site drawing on the Bauhaus. Two projects with nothing in common, apart from a sitemap settled before the code.

How do you build a website for a New York fintech?

Bruno starts with what builds trust, then shows what sets you apart: in finance, confidence is won before the click. New York is still one of the world’s great financial centers, and its fintechs talk to cautious customers. For Qonto, restrained art direction and plenty of white space gave the brand stature, while animation proved it was modern. La Première Brique looked for the same balance between credibility and warmth.

Can our team edit the site without a developer?

Yes, Bruno builds its sites so your team can publish on its own, and trains them before we leave. On Framer, where Bruno is a Framer Expert, or Webflow, your marketing team adds a page or changes copy in minutes. Templates are designed for it, so nobody breaks the layout. Anything touching the structure stays with our developers.

How long should we plan for a website?

A full site takes two to four months on average at Bruno, from the first workshop to launch. The project decides the rest: copy to write, tools to connect, and how many people sign off. A sitemap locked in early saves weeks. It also saves redesigning the same page three times.
